I want to ask about the paper. How was it? was it easy? specially technical part? I scored too less and the common reviews are that the exam was very easy.

If you are general category candidate than there are very less chances as merit will go till 70.50 max. in general …..However chances are bright under reserved category.

Its not a matter of appearing the exam,, its about the leaking of paper and results of the some candidates who have got same marks in a same center sitting besides them.

bahot dino se aap sab ke status read kar raha tha …just i want to give advise to all selected candidates…future in pspcl is not very clear so far….currently 3 or 4 cases going parallely against this recruitment…..some internally departmental….and some externally against the process….those ones who r young and fresher can take risk by joining…but those who r currently doing jobs at the other respectable ranks in respectable departments …..should not sacrifice their current status…coz even after joining u can be shown the way out of the department within 89 days or with in the completion of the bond period… that’s they have written on their result these results are subjected to the pending high court cases… so save future if u experienced and only take risk if u r fresh one

Be positive.. in your approach.. I think PSPCL will come ou of this court case.. not in 22nd hearing.. but may be in next hearing.. PSPCL in very much to join the candidates in. But one thing should be make sure that they do not join in candidates with rider that it is subject to court case.. In early march candidates selected were given orders withought any riders.. So, even if they ask to join, Be clear and launch RTI if rquired.. Just one suggestion to all is that for any information you can launch RTI… & pSPCL should reply than.. Once u join withought rider then nobody can change decison.. if changes u can make an appeal to court too…i would say for the time being just wait and watch…& be hopeful…

I think PSPCL should talk with the phone service provider of all the Successful candidate and scan the phone of all these candidate by the date of 15 July . if they do this, they may know that who have send that mss. Suggest if this idea may work.

all the sucessful A.E have filed court case and they hired sh. akshay bhan (advocate), they have collected 5 lakh for the case,
and its also learnt that pspcl inquiry committee is submitting report against sucessfull candidates i.e they are gonna accept of cheating in exam, which will directly push the case towards camcellation of exam and once exam is cancelled no court even supreme court will revert it, so its better to join the battle now or never as A.E’s have already hired an advocate now its our turn to show the metal,
i appeal all the Junior Engineers to come forward and take a meeting and to decide what to do, we have already gathered a team of 18 persons and counting is going on, we are giving in newspaper also ,

Today technology has gone up very much. if PSPCL really want to catch up to the real culprit, they may find them this way….they take the list of all the exam center and find that how many phones were operating the time of exam in that particular area / or exam center. I think this may be somewhat difficult and can take long time. But I think by this way, we may reach to that real culprits.

i came to know from patiala,some guys have provided fake information in document checking that they are fresher ones,have not represented NOC to pspcl,may will join pspcl by just resigning the current job,for those…. pspcl making a list on complaint basis for canceling their candidature by making contacts with the central and state departments

Hey I m a telecom engg, If pspcl really wants to check for the cheating then they can take the help of telecom companies. They can ask for the details of mms on a particular date and time in a particular area. If there r pics of question paper then cheating took place otherwise not. 1 thing is sure that cheating took place in the centers. I dont know whether the cheaters r selected or not.

I think PSPCl dont have the guts and Intentions to catch the real culprits….
If PSPCL reconducts the exam they will give an another chance to the thieves…..
Actully it is a misconduct of a few peoples and probably they might nt have cleared the exam.
I advice to the selected AE/JEs to take the help of cellular companies to track the list of MMS sent on the day of exam particularly in the time span of 2hrs when the exam was being conducted.
I am sure if the MMS data of all the examination centre cities (CHD., Patiala ,jalandhar) is achieved for that time span only the real culprits can be traced in a day or two.
Generally I think 99 % people using cell phones might not have used the MMS service for a long tym .Even I have never used the MMS service in 3-4 years.
Once the culprits are traced the path of the AE/JE selected wud be clear and the culprits shud be blacklisted by PSPCL for lifelong.
In this way PSPCL or Govt. can set the example and nobody will dare in future to play with the system.
This misconduct of using MMS /phones is shameful and authorities conducting exam are also equally responsible.The invigilators should have react on the spot or mobile jammers should have been used.

PSPCL have to update the case status on website and stop the further proceedings until the case is not cleared in one side. Why PSPCL is wasting their own and candidates time if there is possibility of cancelling the paper.

Probe report doesn’t rule out use of ‘unfair means’

The Vigilance Wing of Punjab State Power Corporation (PSPCL) in its final report has not ruled out the possibility of candidates using “unfair means” to clear the examination that PSPCL conducted in its recruitment drive.
Eleven hundred candidates were to be recruited under 17 categories through the examination that a Noida-based agency EDCIL conducted on July 13. PSPCL had hired the agency.
After the exam, several candidates had alleged that many carried mobile phones and sent photos of the question paper via MMS to people outside the premises.
They later got the answers to the questions on their phones. This had put a question mark on the legitimacy of the exam.
The Power Corporation then entrusted its Vigilance Wing to conduct a probe into the matter. “The probe report has not ruled out the use of unfair means by candidates at the examination,” said a senior PSPCL official, preferring anonymity.
However, KD Chaudhri, PSPCL Chief Managing Director said, “The inquiry report clearly mentions that there is nothing substantial to prove whether the candidates received or sent MMS,” while adding, since the matter was pending in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Power Corporation will submit the report in the court.

I think proofs are against PSPCL so now PSPCL is going to submit their inquiry report as case is going pending. Otherwise they need not to submit anything if the case is in favor of PSPCL. I think all candidates can understand this logic.

The J.E list is again revised with 219 candidates upto 19 Oct… Jaldi jaldi bulao PSPCL walo..
This recuitment is also related to the image of Punjab govt. which may lead to political venture for other political parties if govt. fails to complete this recuitment and have stigma on its working. So , friends it is highly difficult to cancel any paper and court should give desicion in pspcl favour. There are very thin, weak proofs of leakage , and benefit of doubt must be given to PSPCL.

may be bc candidates getting high scores to be considered against general seats , and reserved seats to remain intact as it occurs in centre exams.
Actully If a candidate mentiones while filling the form that he/she will take advantage of category by mentioning the cast SC/BC or sportsman/ex-serviceman etc. ….He/she will get the seat in the reserved category and can not be get the General seats…..he/she can get the general seat only and only if he fill the form by being a general candidate….thats it.
Calling more than mentioned BC candidates only means that probably PSPCL will increase the vacancies, that means GENERAL seats must be increased in same proportion.
For your reference some of the BC /SC candidates who have scored well in top ranks in AE Electrical have been seprately called for Category seats only……

However, the candidates who have appeared in the final year examination of the requisite qualification for the post can also apply, but he/she must acquire the requisite qualifications before the date of document checking and shall produce the certificate for the same. The candidate who fails to do so even if he/she has qualified the written test, shall not be considered and no relaxation shall be given in this regard.

why the total no of candidates called more than advertised whereas general candidates are less 14 seats
PSPCL reserve its right to increase/decrease the total number of posts against various categories.
bcoz when category candidate get marks equivalent to general they are considered general
@ JE ECE not agreed brother…….Even if a reserved category candidate Rank 1st he/she will be called in the reserved category only ….condition is ,He might have filled the form by being a reserved one.
If he fill the form as a general ,only then he can get the general seats …..

111 seats are for generAl in je electrical and if u see they have called upto 115 rank .bcoz of 13 students that came under reserve catg are among 115 candidates so these are converted into genreral so only 101 gen candidate are called

firstly general seats are filled regardless of category then reserved…..

regarding some categories who took benefit in exam fee can not definitely claim seats in general . also those filling in thier form category and thus having the right to qualify at 40 % beforehand and preparing accordingly cannot claim seats out of thier category afterwards. so is the case of people claiming age relaxation other than general category.
@JE ONE ….U r right PSPCL will have to look into the reservation policy and will have to proportionally increase the General seats rather than alloting them to the reserved one…..
still if the pspcl blunders , doors are open for legal remedy for everyone . shall fight till supreme court.

Uploading a list for Docs.check by PSPCL reveals that they have got green signals from High court …..PSPCL waiting for an official reply …which will come soon may be in the next hearing…..
Court cases may take time….but thats not gonna affect recruitments….

@ candidate….yr dont worry ….eh ta koi time nhi 3-4 months are normal in court cases…..generally it take almost a year …..My pops had put a case on PSPCL which has taken more than 2 years but still not resolved…….

you are right buddy…..There are around 35 gen. category candidates (counted till 150th rank) who are selected in AE as well as JE but still chances are less for 69 mark general category candidate.From present merit list it seems that it might go till 70 marks (or at the max. till 69.75) for general category. Can anyone reply that Production Engg student is qualify for Mechanical Engineering. As PTU already issue certificate of equivalence of Production with Mechanical Engg. for Non-teaching post for technical purpose .

Today I have gone through doc. checking for JE…
Doc. checking Commettie has written ” EEE case B.tech student” in the remarks and checked my all docs.
But they have clearly told me that they not gonna call EEE students for joining for AE and JE….and they are also denying to consider the written letter given by P.T.U regarding the equivalence of E.E & EEE on the basis of same syllabus.
When I told them to attach the proof of equivalence with the documents….they refused.
I am also selected for AE…….
I think we should go to the court …..to strenghthen the written certificate given by the university and to ask PSPCL to clear their point of view on the matter ; and question them why they will not consider EEE.
An earlier reply by EEE students will be highly appreciated…

I think we should file RTI atleast and ask PSPCL for following things..
1. No. of AE selected having EEE branch…..that gone through doc. check.
2. No. of JE selected having EEE branch……that gone through doc checking.
3. Weather PSPCL will consider EEE as PTU has given equivalence to EE & EEE two times in written ,2 months ago on the basis on same syllabus.
If No…then why.
As under RTI they will have to reply within 30 days…so it will save time and would be better choice rather than filing a case in hurry…..
What I have experienced in doc checking that if PSPCL would have taken equivalence letter in serious as round about 30 EEE candidates appeared for AE doc checking…then they might not have mentioned it as a “EEE case”…Means either they have not decided and left it on the core commetti to decide OR They are sure that they will not consider us.

Yaar , EEE wale PSPCL ne nahi consider karne . PSPCL nu court case di koi vi parvah nahi hai , koiki uhna ne test hon ton pehla hi Corrigendem/Notice dita si ki EEE, Production Engg.,Instrumentation etc.are applying at their OWN RISK and can be REJECTED at any stage of recruitment. So, Court will give decision in pspcl favour for their prior intimation. Court case da koi faida nahi , u can try.

Even u can go through PSPCL official site and check the corrigendum u are writting about …it is not there …..
Even in the advertisement it is mentioned that Mechanical/instrumentation /ECE are not eligible for AE Electrical…..
It shows a negligency at PSPCL part ….bcz people of these branches know well that they are not for Electrical but the name EEE which most resembles with EE must have mentioned in the advt.
Bcz it is a EEE student who might have confused while applying…

As the case will be investigated by punjab state cyber crime …….Now the exam will not be cancelled in any case bcz till date there is no proof of an “Answer MMS” is in the scenerio . Now either the case will be abandoned by giving the reason that no ” Answer MMS” is there without that cheating can’t be done OR cheaters will be traced and if selected in the recruitment will be expelled out and will be Blacklisted for ever by PSPCL .

In the Answer Key of JE-Electrical displayed on PSTCL website, the answer of two questions are wrong marked.
These questions are :-
Question No. (39) of Set – A
Question : – The full load copper loss and iron loss of a transformer are 6800 w and 4000 w respectively. The copper loss and iron loss at half the load will be respectively : -
(a) 3400 w, 4000 w
(b) 6800 w, 2000 w
(c) 3400 w , 2000 w
(d) None of these
As per the Answer key, the answer of the question is option no. (a) i.e. 3400 w,4000 w, which is wrong because the copper losses of transformer at half load will becomes 1/4th th full load losses. The copper losses are 6800 w at full load and at half load the losses will be 1700 w. So this answer is wrong and the answer will be 1700 w , 4000 w respectively, which is not given in first three options. So the answer of this question no. (39) will be option no. (d) i.e. none of these.

Hello friends , pstcl AEE de paper wich 3-4 ku questions wich doubt hai but most the doubtful questions have not any confirmed answer so they will be given grace to all . 1-2 question have confimed answers so it will change the marks +- 2 . General category students will be affected . No change in rank for Reserved category. Pstcl cannot change more than 5 answer keys because if it does, it may cause ingenuine paper which will be challenged in high court.

Subject : – Request for correct the wrong marked answers of JE-Electrical Paper & Revise the Result.
Respected Sir,
The paper of Junior Engineer Electrical was conducted by you on 14/10/2012. Now Answer Key of Question paper is given by you on your website. In this Answer Key, the answer of some questions are wrong marked.
These questions are :-
Question No. (39) of Set – A
Question : – The full load copper loss and iron loss of a transformer are 6800 w and 4000 w respectively. The copper loss and iron loss at half the load will be respectively : -
(a) 3400 w, 4000 w
(b) 6800 w, 2000 w
(c) 3400 w , 2000 w
(d) None of these
As per your Answer key, the answer of the question is option no. (a) i.e. 3400 w,4000 w, which is wrong because the copper losses of transformer at half load will becomes 1/4th the full load losses. The copper losses are 6800 w at full load and at half load the losses will be 1700 w. So this answer is wrong and the answer will be 1700 w , 4000 w respectively, which is not given in first three options. So the answer of this question no. (39) will be option no. (d) i.e. none of these.
Question No. (62) of Set – A
Question : – The President of India is elected by : -
(a) The people of India
(b) All the members of Parliament
(c) All the elected members of Parliament and of State Legislative Assemblies
(d) None of these.
As per your Answer key, the answer of the question is option no. (d) i.e. None of these. The answer of this question is option no. (c) i.e. All the elected members of Parliament and of State Legislative Assemblies.
Question No. (77) of Set – A
Question : – If the following words are arranged according to dictionary, what will be the correct order :-
(1) Martial
(2) Marital
(3) Material
(4) Matriarch
a) 4321 b) 2314 c) 1234 d) None of the above
As per your Answer key, the answer of the question is option no. (c) i.e. 1234 , which is wrong & the correct arrangement is 2134, which is not given in first three options. So the answer will be option no. (d) i.e. None of these.

2nd. harmony is also right but pata nai pstcl wale kis nu man’de aaa
1st question’s answer is option no. (b) three because others are even numbers & this is odd number.
2nd question’s first are second both option’s spelling is correct.
3rd question’s answer is option no. (b) rating.
this is same question in many books.

bai PSTCL wale result to baad document varification kar ke jaldi joining kara denge ki PSPCL de court case de decision di wait karnge. mostly PSPCL de hi selected candidate PSTCL de JE,AE,SSA vich merit vich ne.
22 maine sare question jo galat c pstcl nu de dete c hun vekho ke hunda 22 mere 48.50 ne ssa vicho with general category. je 2 question thek ho gaye ta qualify ta karja ge
