Giving Excess of Details During Answers
Sometimes, the person who interviews you doesn’t belong to the specified IT or tech department. In such type of situations, lots of technical or complex answers might frustrate the interviewer rather than impress. Try to speak little but display your depth of knowledge.
Before answering, keep your focus on the question. Understand what the interviewer is asking for? Just answer his question, do not try to drift off technical solutions.

Not being on time
Punctuality can increase your status. Try to arrive interview venue a few minutes early. Generally, experts suggest arriving at the venue before 10 minutes. Being punctual proves that you’re reliable, eager and organized. If you arrive early, you will have time to use the restroom, so that you can prepare yourself for the impending conversation.
Use of your cell phone
As the expert sitting in front of you will consider your every movement. Do not use your cell phone, even for simply checking the time. Switch off your phone before going into the interview room.

Not Asking Your Own Questions

Stretching Your Skills
Don’t try to stretch the skills in the interview which you’re not familiar with. Otherwise, you will be unable to answer if your manager asks or inquires about your experience.

Keep in mind that interviewer is not here just to know about your IT or tech skills. When you will practice in the mirror, think about applications you are going to deal with the company’s business. Think, how HTML 5 and CSS directly benefit the business? How can PHP knowledge be used to improve customer support or increase revenue?

Having poor body language
Communication can not only be done through words. Body gestures and facial expressions are equally important. Offer a handshake when you entered the room, sit with a good posture and make an eye contact while listening and replying.

Not Knowing Anything About the Company
Possibly your interviewer can ask, “What do you know about this company? ” Be prepared for such kind of questions by doing research about the company’s profile before your interview.
Most of the information about the company can be gotten from “About Us” section. Review it, if need then print it out and read it. You can also check the company’s Facebook page, LinkedIn page or Twitter feed.

Resume is one of the basic need for interview. Be truthful while creating your resume. The truthful resume will help you to discuss your past experience to the interview in a better way.
Try to keep 2-3 copies of your resume for yourself during your interview.
Pay attention to what you mentioned in your resume and answer to your interviewer’s questions appropriately.
