DBT funding a project having titled “Activation of hypoxia-inducible factor-1 in Leishmania donovani infected macrophages and its role on intracellular growth of the parasite.” and demanding applications for the same for the post of Senior Research Fellow SRF. This project may contain hard work on mammalian cells and in the areas of gene expression and signalling pathways as well as parasite culture. The preference will be given to the candidate who have vast experience on techniques on molecular/cell biology related to RNA/ immunofluorescence detection of proteins. The duration of the project is up to June, 2014.
Qualifications:
Essential: M.Sc. or equivalent in any branch of biological sciences with experience (more than 2 yrs) in the area of mammalian gene expression, host-parasite interaction in related area.
Desirable: At least one publication OR proof of submitted manuscript (revised) in the related area in peer reviewed journal
Fellowship: Rs. 14000/- per month +30% HRA.
