About the Organisation:

Hindustan Prefab Limited (A Government of India Enterprise) an ISO 9001: 2000 certified Company, was incorporated in 1953. It has been in existence for 50 years. The pre-stressed concrete railway sleepers produced by HPL, is a pioneering effort. These have replaced wooden sleepers in Indian Railways. Over the years HPL has supplied components for the building industry and the national railways. Using prefab techniques, HPL has built a variety of civil engineering structures. HPL also has to its credit as the first company to produce precast pre stressed concrete railway bridge girders. These are used for making railway bridges in the country.
