Medical Standard : Eye Sight : The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other eye without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses. The candidates must not have knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in the eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. The selection board has the absolute discretion to reject or accept any candidate after considering the report of the medical board.
Method of Selection : Recruitment Test
Application Fee : All candidates belonging to General & OBC category should furnish a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft worth Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of DIG (Medical CH (Chandigarh, ITBP for Asst Sub Inspector (Lab Technician) DIG, SHQ (Deharadun, ITBP (for Asst Sub Inspector (Midwife) and Commandant Bose Hospital ITBP (for Asst Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) and along with their application. SC/ST & Ex- servicemen candidates are exempted from application fee.
How to apply
The eligible and interested candidates may send his/her Applications in the prescribed format and Candidates Admit Card duly filled in on 8 x 14 inches size paper (typed or neatly hand written either in Hindi or English only) along with attested copies of the prescribed documents. Application along with Admission Card duly filled in Hindi or English and attested copies of requisite documents/testimonials should be sent by the candidates so as to reach DIG (Medical) CH (CHD) ITBP; DIG, SHQ (Dehradun), ITBP and Commandant Base Hospital ITBP (as applicable) on or before 01/01/2012. The envelop containing the application must be super scribed in bold letters as ” Application for the post of Aswst Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) and Head Constable (Midwife) (as applicable) in ITBP’.
