Essential Functions :

  • The major areas required of the incumbent to successfully perform in this position
  • Deploy IDeaS Software products on the Server side
  • Maintain Server side software so as to provide 99% uptime.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to Quality Assurance and Software Development teams on the product status.
  • Complete upgrades of IDeaS software on the Server side.
  • Coordinate with Internal clients such as Project Managers, Client Managers, System Analysts, Quality Assurance and Software Development for issue resolution
  • Investigation of e-Mail /Hardware/ Operating System/ Network issues
  • Analyze and resolve Product and Infrastructure related technical issues
  • Special projects that need implementation on a live system
  • Train new and existing personnel on current processes and procedures
  • Documentation of new processes and update existing documentation to keep it current
  • This Job requires working in Shifts since the Department works 24×7.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (CSE/ IT)/ BCA/ or equivalent education, experience or training
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Windows 2000/XP/2003
  • Comfortable with Hardware and Networking issues
  • Experience with a command language (i.e. DOS or UNIX)
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • 0.6 – 2 years of experience in Technical Support
